Dear Santa Clara Families and Community,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It is our hope that you and your family have enjoyed a joyful and safe summer filled with new memories and special moments. We are thrilled to welcome our returning Bulldogs back to campus and to greet the new families joining the Santa Clara community. As you may have noticed, this summer, our school is being beautified with new water lines, updated parking lots, new flooring, and additional new furniture for classrooms and cafeteria.  Our staff will also be spending time preparing classrooms, planning meaningful learning experiences, and ensuring our campus is ready to provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for each student. We  look forward to partnering with you to provide the best opportunities for your child’s academic growth, well-being, and success.

As we begin the 2026-27 school year, our school wide focus is clear: every day matters. Regular attendance is one of the strongest predictors of student learning and success. We are committed to working alongside our families to ensure each Bulldog is present, engaged, and learning each day. Together, we will continue building our momentum to increase student achievement by creating consistent learning opportunities for all.

We encourage you to remain actively involved in your child’s education by ensuring they attend school on time- every day, participating in school events, volunteering, joining us for Cafecitos, and maintaining open communication with our dedicated teachers and staff. Our partnership is essential to your child’s success, and by working together, we can help each student reach their full potential and make this our best year yet.

Following student dismissal to class, parents are invited to stay for a brief informational meeting in the cafeteria to learn more about our school, daily routines, and ways to support their child's successful transition to kindergarten.

Dear Santa Clara Families and Community,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Santa Clara Elementary! As I begin my second year serving as the Academic Behavior Support Specialist (ABSS), I am grateful for the opportunity to continue working alongside our outstanding students, families, staff, and community.

During my first year, I had the privilege of building meaningful relationships with our students and families while supporting our dedicated teachers in creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. I am incredibly proud of all we accomplished together and excited to continue building on that success.

At Santa Clara, we remain committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, supported, valued, and empowered to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success, and I look forward to continuing to strengthen those connections throughout the year.

One of the foundations of our school culture is our commitment to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS is a school-wide framework that teaches, reinforces, and celebrates positive behaviors while providing students with clear expectations and consistent support. Through our focus on being Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Kind, we help create an environment where students can thrive, teachers can focus on high-quality instruction, and families can feel confident that their children are learning in a caring and supportive school community.

As we begin this new school year, I look forward to celebrating student achievements, supporting growth through challenges, and continuing to foster a culture of positivity, collaboration, and high expectations for every student.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust. Together, we will make this another outstanding year at Santa Clara Elementary. Please don't hesitate to reach out, stop by, or connect with me throughout the year. I look forward to seeing all that our students will accomplish!

Thank you for your partnership,
